2022 Equine Summit & Annual Meeting
The South Carolina Horsemen’s Council would like to invite your association to our Equine Summit. The purpose of this Summit is to bring together as many Equine Associations, Clubs and Professional Organizations as possible to address the needs of our community. As our efforts continue to achieve recognition of our industry, we need involvement from any and all interested parties. Please join us to discuss the challenges facing all equestrians and help to find solutions to these issues.
The past year has seen many successes and some challenges for the Equine Community of South Carolina. The scheduled program for this year is to inform members and public on current legislation impacting the industry of which there has been a lot proposed the past couple years. There is time allocated throughout the day for associations to share their experiences and voice their specific concerns. In this way, we can all stay abreast of what is happening with the other groups throughout the state.
The State of South Carolina is wrapping up the Equine Impact Study that was launched with H3071. As the concerned parties, it is our responsibility to identify areas of concern and propose workable solutions. The Equine Industry Support Measures Study Committee, Chair Rep. Russel Ott will be our first speaker of the day to fill us in on what the Committee has learned to date and what recommendations will be given to the Governor.
Please join us for a day networking together. Be sure to join our eBlast list to stay current on SC equine news http://eepurl.com/RomJP
Bring or send promotional material for your association! Lunch will be provided for all.
