This is a sample post from the SCHC Web Designer. It is to show you how you can customize your blog posts to create a content stream of news for the Horse Council.
The best way to view this post is from the editor interface. That's the only way to see the inactive modules.
Make sure you put a "Read More" module in so your entire post doesn't fill the page.
Incorporating Images with Text
You can use the Image + Text module to make a smart looking post with a lot of text content that isn't very discouraging.
If you have a lot of text it's good to break it up and to incorporate more images to help separate paragraphs. To use an image on the right, click the image after uploading go to Advanced > Position > Right.
Columns and dividers both work in blog posts like they do in regular webpages. Feel free to use them for organization.
You can also put in regular image modules. As a side note, recognize that this text is in a new module. It makes for better spacing. Don't feel pressured to put everything in one module.
There are also really cool modules like maps that you can use to spice up your posts. Need to give somebody directions to a new event? This is the way to do it.
Galleries and Slideshows
You can use both galleries and slideshows in your posts. If you want to add a lot of photos to a new post use one of these to make them organized and efficient.
